I absolutely adored their friendship. Even in Season 4, when she was gone, he still tried to protect her and was really worried about her.

That scene was so sad, I wonder if Dennis ever had a way of finding out what happened to her & getting some closure

I'd like to think that he wasn't completely bound to the apartment and he was able to go out and discover that she was eventually saved

It really hurts to look back and remember that Cordy and Dennis didn't get a "goodbye" opportunity.

I love the scene in 'That Vision Thing' where Cordy, who is struggling with physical pain because of Lilah's tricks, takes a bubble bath and Dennis gently scrubs her back.

He was such a friendly ghost and always had Cordy's best interests at heart.

I think Dennis' story is even more tragic than Casper's (in the movie), because of how his Mother killed him and he's frozen forever as a young man.
