That scene was his best by far imo, not that it's fun to watch because it's a sad scene, but it's just one of the most raw & it really bares his soul imo & the acting is sensational

Agreed! That's the last episode we've seen of Connor going off the rails. He was just too much in that episode... and completely lost his way.

Yeah, he was pretty much at the lowest he could get. I think he'd always been in a lot of pain & had always been fragile, but then his entire ideology was torn apart & he was just so lost, so broken

He was loss, and thank goodness as hard as it was. Angel made the choice he made, because Connor was going down the worst path ever and it was nothing anybody could've done to save him at that point.

Exactly, Angel really didn't have any choice at all, there was no other way to save Connor so the only other thing he could have done would have been to kill him. He was too far gone, he was about to kill himself, there was no other way to save him

I know! and it's no way Angel could really kill his son, doesn't matter how evil he was, he still as his son at the end of the day so yeah he did the best thing he could do and sadly shook hands with the evil and got his friends involved... but it was all for Connor, who he saved from himself.

Yeah & that proves to me that he would put Connor above all else. I don't think there's any other person he would have got involved with W&H for.
