I am watching the Thirst episode from the show Smallville and I love all of the references to this show.

1. One of the characters is named "Buffy" Sanders
2. The episode deals with vampires
3. James Marsters is in the episode who played Spike. it's funny hearing James's character say, "there is no such thing as vampires"

1)In a episode of Gilmore Girls Rory makes a joke of Paris being afraid of going outside in the dark.

Rory asks if "she's afraid to run into Drusilla and Spike".


2)On Will & Grace, Will is using a microphone to help Jack talk to a guy he likes:
JACK: So, what is it you do?
MATTHEW: I work in television.
JACK: Oh, my God. I love TV. Buffy is my life.
MATTHEW: Oh.
JACK: I'm so into Willow being a lez. Did you have anything to do with that?
MATTHEW: No, I'm a sports writer. I write news, sports, you know, like that.
WILL: Sports? I got nothing. The last sporting event I watched was "Circus of the Stars."
JACK: So, back to Buffy. Is it really--
WILL: Forget Buffy, you boob. Ask him what he does for fun.

In last week's episode of The Middleman on ABC They were fighting an evil Dracula puppet and one of the girls grabbed a stake and said "ooooh!, I'm-a get my buffy on!" or something to that effect, So I watched it and It was a really funny episode.

I had no idea they said that on Gilmore Girls. That's too funny.

The only reference I have is from a movie. So it doesn't count, but they show part of Chosen in Johnson Family Vacation. It was pretty cool though.

Supernatural, along with having some of the Buffy actors, had One Buffy reference that I know of: Ed: Remember WWBD. What would Buffy do?

And Friends had one, Where Phoebe's (sp?) sister Ursula made a Porn called "Buffay the Vampire Layer"

Also Charmed did a second reference in the season 4 ep "Bite Me" which centred around vamps. Someone asked if vamps are demons too and Leo answered: "No they're part of a whole different network" referencing Buffy's move from WB to UPN.


In the show Spaced(British show)
1-Tim wakes up at night having a nightmare and shouts out "Buffy!"then in another scene he is praying in his room to a poster of SMG as Buffy

2-Tim: She's shallow, Brian. She's like Cordelia out of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and latterly Angel, the spin off series which is set in LA.
Brian: Don't know what you're talking about.
Tim: Brian, you're such a square!

There is a reference to BtVS in the books that 'True Blood' is based on. Don't know if they will put it into the actual show, though.

TB vampires don't have lumpy foreheads or changed eyes. Their only change is their fangs appear when they are in anger or in lust, either sexual lust or blood lust, which is often intermixed. They can't go out into the sunlight, in fact they have to be in a light tight place before the sun rises because they are compelled to sleep. So one time while Sookie got some sleep afterward Bill the vampire watched her Buffy tapes. He and his vampire friends laughed about the bumpy foreheads.
