I think the odds are good if they want to continue to keep writing.

I thought Season 10 was the last one but forgot why I thought it was. lol Hopefully it's not.

Yup. It should only end when joss is ready to quit writing a long time from now at that point angel can become human again finally

When it comes to the comics, I don't think Joss writes it.

Aww you really want Angel to become human again... that would be a nice ending although I love him as a vampire, it's more interesting to watch but if Angel really turned human again and had Faith by his side, that would be alright to me.

I always felt like Angel was a couple centuries away from becoming human - although I do definitely think that prophecy was about him.

Agree! He spent so many decades being evil so it only makes sense if he has to spend twice as much more centuries doing good.

Yeah, I never could see the series ending with him becoming human. I thought he would always outlive everyone around him

How depressing that is?
I think that's part of what made Angelus & Darla relationship sort of beautiful (although evil) was that they would forever be together and they really didn't have many friends or anything however with Angel, he no longer has Darla... he just has a bunch of human friends he will outlive.

He might need to grow a great friendship with Spike seeing as how those two will be around longer (if no unfortunate stake to the heart doesn't occur.

)

Faith is probably who he's the closest with right now so I can't imagine how Angel would take if something happened to her.

Pretty tragic when you think about it.

It is, but I'd like to think that Angel will always be letting new people into his life as well, that because of all the great people he's known, he's learnt the value of having friends around him - although he is also going to have to lose everyone too

It happened a little bit on the show; Doyle, Cordelia, Connor, Fred, Wesley, even Lorne left at the end

I agree I also really like how it ends. I think we saw him rise into a superhero. Now, it's not like the shanshu doesn't matter (cuz I'm sure that will always be a factor cuz they could bring that back) but he's realized that he wants to be a hero. He wants to save the world because he loves people and knows more then anyone the value of a soul. Love is sacrifice. I still believe one day Angel can become human, but his mission changed. It's not about his soul anymore, it's about all the other souls and about saving the world.

In that battle at the end do you think they all survived it?

I love the idea of Angel and Faith as a team!

Yes I agree.

And of course it's the guilt that sadly keeps him going.

I do believe they all survived it. Although I have no clue how it probably ended.

They make the perfect team so I agree!

Yeah.

It's a different ballgame now because he knows how it feels to be close to people however who knows... he might get to the point where he cuts everyone off like in the early-mid 1900s. This is really the first time Angel cared about these many people so if he finally lose enough if might feel it's best to start cutting people loose.

I love this comicbook scene, look how quickly Angel & Faith resolve arguments.
