In the eyes of the powers I think they will, but I don't think redemption is ever something you can really reach. I mean the day that Angel or Faith get to the point where they say 'that's it, I've done enough good that the bad things I've done won't count anymore' it will cancel that redemption out. There is no scale that can be balanced out. I think redemption itself is something you have to constantly fight for.

Yeah, it's so sad for Angel and Faith but I sort of agree with you.

But the whole point of the show is Angel trying to get redemption so he can get a chance to be human again and die like everyone else. If that will never happen I don't see any point to it

I can't think that will never happen for him.

It's kinda of a paradox I guess, the moment you're doing it for the reward then you're not genuinely seeking redemption, you're doing it for your own gain. I think it's all about the journey & not the destination.

I see this show a bit different than real life and I'll say that redemption is possible if a real change happen.
I think it showed a bit during Season 5 about the whole destiny and redemption thing judging on how much good he did.
I'm not sure if Angel can ever turn human again though.

That's the sad thing about having this vampire curse on him.

The most important thing is that he is trying to change and he want to be a better man... so who knows.

I guess if the powers of B allow it, than it can happen. So sad that he got to be human during Season 1 but he changed it because of Buffy.

I think for Faith, her redemption is very possible which is one of the main reasons Angel has always helped her because sadly he believes it's to late for him but not for her.

I agree that Faith is more likely to reach redemption than Angel, she's proved that she can be good - & even though she can never undo the murders she committed, she can still be a good person overall.

Yeah.

Angel can be if he didn't have this bad curse on him.

... I don't even think he has the curse anymore in the comics though...

I can't be sure but I don't think it exist anymore... so I guess with Angel, what's left is guilt which Faith helps him out with.
