I know we both love Leverage, and after watching Christian Kane on Leverage did that make you appreciate his portrayal of Lindsey a bit more? |

^ WAY more!! But I liked Lindsey since the first time I watched it... I was always rooting for him to pick the good side, and I was so sad that Lorne was the one to stab him in the back it didn't feel like something Lorne would do and Lindsey deserved like a boss fighting to be his cause of death
But funny fact, I actually only started watching Leverage because Christian Kane was in it I was looking for all projects with ATS/BTVS actors. __________________

^ We were discussion that last thread how it felt like it made sense for him to choose team good... and when I re-watch it really makes even more sense why he should choose team good... he seemed to really hate the company he was working for in W&H for the most part so... it just felt like quick lazy writing a bit if you truly think about his arc.
His death was lame, made no sense. For me I think I was just on TNT and happen to watch Leverage and of course I noticed Christian Kane from Angel and instantly realized how different he was going to be from his character on Angel but even before Leverage I liked Lindsey, I didn't love him but I liked him... he was the only W&H employee that I cared for. Cause at least he had a backbone and didn't blinded agree with everything that was asked of him. Now him as Eliot. He was amazing. And the trio of Eliot/Parker/Hardison!!! OT3 goals! That show was so special. |

Yeah Lindsey could've been an amazing recurring with an even better SL... I wasn't completely disappointed with his arc as a whole, but yeah, his ending was BAD!!
I liked Lilah too. Ohh Leverage is one of my favorite shows! I loved the writing, all the characters and the pilot and final episode were perfect!! That's my OT3 too __________________

^ His storyline would've been more acceptable to me if he didn't get such a crappy ending that happened just because the series was ending.
I like that he's the only character with Angel to appear in the Pilot and series finale though. lol Lilah I didn't care for ... I am more okay with her during my re-watch though. lol Leverage was great that's why! Eliot Spencer was amazing and a perfect final that stayed true to the series and one of my best OT3 ever.! |

I always felt like he should have chosen to be on the good side too - & he didn't have to necessarily work with Angel, but he obviously didn't want anything to do with what W&H were doing. When he left in s2, I thought he was gonna go find purpose & use what he knew to do good, not spend years plotting 'revenge' against Angel

^ Completely agree with you... I think season 5 for him doesn't match his season 2 ending at all. He was done with the city, Angel and especially W&H...
So, it would've been nice if he returned good and everyone believe he's lying and he's still good. |

ITA with you both I didn't like that Lindsay came back in season 5 as a bad guy initially and then that ending

I just wish I could understand it, I mean characters don't always make decisions that I like, but if I can understand it character-wise, then I accept it, but this... I just don't

^ I actually forgot so much about the episode because I only really watched it once when it first aired live and never truly focused on the episode out of like 4 scenes... watching it now and fully looking at it and paying attention made me frustrated! Lindsey was going to join the fight and the solution was to kill him? It was just terrible writing.

Yeah, I do think that that last episode shows what he had wanted deep down all along, to be one of them. I think that, had he been given the chance, he would have stuck with them...

Yeah, & even Angel said that he could take over W&H once they had the big battle, I don't think Lindsey wanted that, he wanted to be involved in what Angel was doing, even if that was gonna get him killed
