Watched "Lie to Me" last night, that BA conversation in the kitchen was pretty intense. Buffy saying, "I love you" without batting an eyelash added to the intensity of the moment. I think she was actually able to trust him because he told her the hard, cold truth about what he did to Dru. I think she listened to him about Ford because of that as well. I liked that he admitted he was jealous of Ford and said things changed when Buffy came along.

^ They have such insane chemistry. I think they really sold the BA story, no matter which season it was. That chemistry never vanished, it seemed to just get stronger.
I liked the metaphor of that moment as well--that no matter how much it hurt, they were going to risk a lot to be together. I still would like to think that Angel eventually became human and they were able to be in love and together like they were in IWRY. __________________

Watched "What's My Line Pt 1" last night and that BA scene in her bedroom still gets to me. It's the scene that actually turned me into a shipper/fan of theirs. There's just something so sweet about him inviting her to go skating with him. You can tell it meant a lot to Buffy as well.
And of course the iconic "I didn't even notice" scene. There's just so much love and tenderness between them in their scenes that episode.__________________
