Season 6 was really when Tara came into her own
 I just wish the mess that happened at the end of it hadn't happened, so we could have seen her continue to grow in Season 7  __________________

Couldn't agree more, she was wonderful in S6 and it was horrible to see that cut so tragically short.

The thing for me is I've had ships treated worse on other shows.
I remember on the Dair thread we talked about how we wished Joss had wrote them because the worst would have been one of them dying and he didn't have the mentality that first love is the only love. That's just one example out of many ships. Joss did treat all relationships as important. I hate what he did to Cordy and Tara but it was clear that both couples loved each other at least.  __________________

That's interesting, we never really got to see the characters having much of a social life besides The Bronze, so it's kinda hard to imagine what else they might do just for fun. I can't see Tara being big in to shopping or really girly stuff, so maybe a movie or a funfair or something like that.
 I'd say ten pin bowling, but Buffy's uber strength would make that an unfair match. Maybe Tara would teach Buffy a few basic spells for defence, I think she'd be a great teacher. |

I totally agree that shopping isn't really something Tara would be into. Tara, at least until the middle of Season 6, was really reserved and shy. After Mid-Season 6, she started to open up a little more, so maybe she would have at least made an attempt to do that with Buffy, but I'm not too sure if she would have made it a regular thing__________________

More people need to write B/T friendship fics, I need to rad about these scenarios, to make up for their friendship being cut short on the show.
