Board-Specific Rules

In addition to the forum-wide rules, we have a few rules that apply specifically to this board:

1. Please do not start any new games. The Buffy board was getting overrun with games shortly before the big crash,
so we have decided to allow certain games. Any other game threads will be closed.

2. Please only start "shipper" threads for couples that actually exist, have existed, or are strongly hinted at.
(For example, Willow/Tara, Buffy/Spike and Buffy/Angel are okay, but Anya/Willow and Giles/Xander are not.) Posts
about couples with no real chance of existing belong in the UC couples thread.

3. The rules about Fan Fiction are:

-You can directly post fan fiction and open threads to discuss fan fiction on the individual message boards here.
-You can link to Fan Fiction websites, but you can’t link to other Fan Fiction message boards.

If you do post any Fan Fiction here, please make sure it's rated PG-13 or under. If not, put a link to it and a warning as to
what rating it is. Thank you!

4. Please don’t post pictures any wider than 800 pixels so you don’t stretch the post table. In consideration of
members on dial-up, please post links to larger pictures (also known as HQ pictures) or post thumbnails of those pictures.

This is basically because it takes too long for the pictures to load for some posters, and because pictures exceeding the
width of 800 pixels will stretch the page of the posting table, which makes it difficult to navigate!

Secondly; it's been decided that when uploading fanarts, wallpapers, manips, or avatars to this forum, you should try and
credit the artist whenever possible. If you can't remember who made it, just make sure you specify that it is not your art.

5. No thread titles are allowed that intentionally provoke, compete with or are disrespectful to other shipper-groups, actors, posters or fans.

6. Please do not lurk in threads of couples you're not a fan of and do not discuss those comments in other threads.

7. As of April 9th, 2009, we've decided to close all anti-threads in an effort to promote board unity. Please do not start an anti-thread.

Buffy Heading Back To The Big Screen

Buffy The Vampire Slayer is heading back to the big screen with a new movie based on the hit franchise.

The character, most famously played by Sarah Michelle Gellar in the hit TV series, was originally introduced in the 1992 movie of the same name, starring Kristy Swanson.

The following TV show ran for six years before coming to an end in 2003.

And now the blood-sucking series could be heading back to the big screen with a brand new vampire slayer.

Director Fran Rubel Kuzui, who directed the original film and executive produced the TV programme, owns the rights to the Buffy brand and is planning to reboot the franchise for cinemas, replacing Gellar and the rest of the cast with new actors to fight demons in a different generation.

Kuzui tells the Hollywood Reporter, "Everything has its moment. Every movie takes on a life at some point, and this seems like the moment to do this."
