He actually looks shorter to me this season

Not sure why. The only episode that bored me was the one when Richard was stuck in that dream. It was Home right? I get that it's a "catching up" episode but I could have done without it.

Yeah that episode was so boring.

I think it was called "Home". I liked that Kahlan brought him back but other than that I don't think it was needed. They could have just done a plain recap episode without any new stuff like a lot of shows do and have one of them narrate or something.

I guess so. Not sure how I feel about that. And how can there be another Seeker if Richard's still alive? Or does it not matter? I like Cara too... but I'm not sure I like her getting between Kahlan/Richard. Kahlan is already feeling threatened.

Oh Revenant was so hot.

Stupid Zedd for interrupting them.

I seriously wonder though if Richard would have been confessed if they had had sex. I mean they were possessed.

Oh and I hate that Richard never got to talk to his mother. I mean he finally meets her and she dies.

Everyone around him dies but Zedd, Kahlan, and Jennsen. And I guess Chase.

I'm so excited you guys watched it, now I actually have someone to talk about the episodes with

Richard/Kahlan need to get together! I agree, I'm wondering if there is some kind of loop hole though for it, cause I'm wondering what happens in the books...but I'm only on the first one right now. It's so different, I'm already like 150 pages in, and they still haven't crossed the boundary into the Midlands.

Rewatching the season now.

Isn't the book like really long though? And it's really different?

Yeah, the book is like 570-ish pages, and these are big pages, HP style with smaller font. BUT, it's this whole long quest to get across the boundary, when in the show they just kind of crossed and in the book it's really long, not just like a small veil separating the two lands, I guess..it's different.

Oh! I want to re-watch it too, I think I'm going to watch the 1st episode though bc I only watched it this summer, so that was like 4 months between that episode and when I watched the rest of the series.

But in the show it doesn't just look like a veil. When she first crosses it looks really long... to me. I'm at that part right now in the first episode and it looks like it goes on for a bit. But then when they have that opening built it just looks like it's a foot wide.

When I watched the first episode I wasn't paying that much attention. I was half watching and half on here.

I think there can be more than one Seeker. It's why they keep calling him the "one true seeker". Maybe when there are more than one, there's a hierarchy and only the true seeker can wield the sword?

I thought Kahlan needing to Confess Richard in the finale would have given them their moment. I was wrong

Ikr? Richard's dad and brother die. Then his real mom dies. He kills his brother and after he finds out that his brother killed their father.

I'm finding this season's storyline to already have more depth than last seasons. Darkan Rahl was an obvious villain that he could fight. How do you fight the Keeper of the Underworld? Every time you kill someone, his/her army gets stronger. And Richard's already in this big pickle because he has to trust his enemies to win and now people are doubting him.

Richard obviously has a thing for strong women. And those Mord-Siths seem to really like him. Denna was really into him and now so's Cara. It's obvious that his heart is with Kahlan but this "will they, wont they" situation is getting old. And every time there's a chance, it gets ruined. Like with the potion Giller made. Or when they were trapped in the painting.

Oh really? Well see I only remember what it looked like when they had the opening, but like I said I saw the first episode a long time ago

Now I got to go watch in on netflix since I'm done with class and free the rest of the day.

In the book a Wizard can appoint anyone seeker, but on the "one true seeker" has all the actual/more power type of thing.

I was really excited in the finale because I thought that's how she'd confess him too

Oh... so there can be multiple Seekers. But then doesn't the one true one need the Sword of Truth? I would assume Richard wouldn't give it up that easily.

I didn't even think about her needing to confess him being their moment. I just thought she would do what she did.

I definitely think this season is going to have more depth but last season set it up obviously. With Darken Rahl going into the Underworld... other people dying... and the whole brothers thing. I'm curious if Richard knows that when he kills someone they'll just end up coming back now.

He might not want to kill the bad guys.

I was so mad that they didn't get to use that potion.

I love that they were selfless and gave it to Chase and his wife but I wanted Richard to have it.

And the painting.... they could have snuck off and done something and then gone to fight.

I'm sure nothing is going to happen between him and Cara... he's already turned her down once but I guess it's about Kahlan thinking there's something between them.

I was the same way. Especially them in the painting, I'm just like hey, can you go off now just for a minute, or I at least thought that they'd kiss or something but nothing! It wasn't like they could do anything anywhere, I mean they were stuck inside and had time

But I wanted him to use the potion, maybe they'll find some other way and actually we able to use it for them

I mean they can't have the show show being a will they/won't they, they have to eventually get together.

BTW... how old is Kahlan? And how old was Darken Rahl?

Oh I think eventually they'll be together. They are the heart of the show afterall.

But then when they get together what will happen after that?

Richard's 20 right? I assumed that Kahlan was a couple of years older. Darkan Rahl seemed like he was a much older brother

How long does it take them to hook up in the book?
