I don't think I have a type for couples. Most of the time it seemed to be love/hate couples, but then there's Doctor/Rose, Barney/Robin, Angel/Cordelia, which really doesn't fit that at all, so I think I just have to like the story.

I would have accepted that. It would have been a lot truer to the characters and the story without having to compromise their integrity.

Then we wouldn't have even got Lindsey and the whole marriage crap.

Lindsay was never needed. And in the end it made Lucas and Peyton look even worse than.

Did you hear about Jensen and Daneel's engagement?

It did. I was one of the few that liked Lindsay and was rooting for her. I hate what they did to her.

That's why I can never be happy that LP got a happy ending.

I did. I'm happy for them.

The ring is pretty.

And they make a pretty couple.

I did like Lindsay too. And Lucas clearly loved her because he said "I do". Look at the things he's said about Brooke in the past too. LP became a huge joke in the end. I believe he picked her because she couldn't leave him alone and she was pathetic enough to beg a guy who was happy with someone else to love her.

I'm happy for them too. I wonder if the SPN fandom has exploded from this news?

You know I'm in the camp that says you can love more than one person... maybe even be in love with more than one person but OTH takes it to a new level. He was perfectly fine and willing to spend the rest of his life with Lindsay. Even after the wedding was off he wanted her back. He didn't go and rush to be with Peyton. We always get mad that Brooke gets Peyton's leftovers but that's not really true. Peyton gets everyone else's leftovers... Lucas. And isn't it convenient that she has to have these death scares or divine/epic interventions in order for Lucas to want her.

I'm not sure.

But every time I go somewhere with comments and the topic is the engagement that question is asked.

Apparently it exploded when Jared was engaged a while back.

Seriously people.. it's their lives.

I agree. It's just that in S6, Mark tried to push that it was "always" LP and that there was no one else for either. Which made them look like a huge joke because clearly there were people in their lives that they loved and could have been happy with.

I look at things from a broader stand point when I say Brooke got Peyton's leftovers. Last year was about Peyton getting Brooke's dream family with the one guy she's loved for the majority of the show. And the only two men she's loved were in love with her best friend first. That's what I mean about left overs. The things Brooke wants the most are the things that have alluded her forever while Peyton gets them first. Did Peyton really need to get pregnant to have her HEA?

Is Jared really dating Ruby 2.0?

It was after the fact meant to be. They would have been happy with everyone else... even Peyton moved on when they broke up after S4. She was happy and in love with Julian. Maybe if Mark wants us to believe they are each other's HEA then he shouldn't have their other relationships more believable.

Peyton had to get pregnant. We needed to see her deal with maybe dying before the baby was born. That was so important. We had to see their impromptu wedding and her stupid big belly... that was important. We had to see them ride off into the sun like they did on Grease. That was important. Brooke should have been pregnant. And I guess she wasn't pregnant last night either. I'm not sure why Brooke couldn't have been pregnant other than Mark didn't want two moms/two kids on the show.

Peyton was leaving so we didn't have to worry about the baby. But hopefully Brooke will get her HEA with a husband a baby when the show ends.

That's what I heard.

I wonder when they started dating.

I could understand it if last season wasn't so much about people's dreams coming true. But that only happened for Lucas, Peyton and Nathan. WTF Mark???? Where are Haley and Brooke's dreams?

Probably after that awkward yet hot sex scene they did last season

It really was. The show has been really cheesy over the seasons, NH especially, but that was the worst.

Haley's dream is Nathan's dream. We've been told that like every single episode.

And Brooke... she's got her fashion label... does she need everything else?

I swear... you know who the favs are with Mark.

I was thinking that.
