I wish I didn't ship hardcore sometimes. That way I could enjoy all my shows without having to worry or shipping wars breaking out. Or I wish I could multiship as well... it seems that people that do that also enjoy the show a lot more.

I didn't like the location I worked in today. It didn't have a good vibe. Plus things were really disorganized there.

Then I went to a Subway after work and ended up getting into a disagreement with the owner

I'm writing an angry letter to Subway right now.

Yup. I've been to 4 different one's already.

Basically I ordered a sub while I was on the phone and he started making a footlong so I corrected him and then he got upset because it's my fault since I'm on the phone. I then said that I was 99% sure I said 6 inch but that even if I hadn't, I definitely didn't say footlong. And so he said something about having to throw out the bread and how I just wasted money so then I said I wouldn't waste anymore and said goodbye. After I left I realized that I had forgotten to ask for his name so I went back and then he yelled his name at me and I told him he needed to calm down. Then he went into this crazy rant about technology, about how he can barely afford to make the bread that I wasted and how unfair his life was (he's the owner). I said (calmly) that his life, his profitability and blah blah blah had nothing to do with me. I was a customer and it's his job to determine what I need before he wastes his products. He continued to rant and then I said I was done but he started yelling at me to come back so he could make me my Sub. I told him that I work in customer service and I've never spoken to someone the way that he's yelled at me and I turned and left while he continued to yell. People outside could hear him.

Funny thing, I go to that Subway all the time to buy cookies and I've never seen him. The girl who usually works there says he barely works.

You haven't started yet?

Holy crap. WTF was wrong with him? People order things while on the phone all the time... they pay for things while on the phone and I've never seen anyone get it wrong before.

He clearly misheard and honestly... it was one 6 inch thing of bread he would have to throw out. He could have eaten it for dinner.

I can't believe he yelled at you.

No not yet.

I work from 6-10.

No I was hired for this position. My interviewer felt that I was a good candidate for it. And I don't mind moving around. I get to experience different systems and environments. When I worked in my previous job, I was all over the place too.

Iknr? I'm like dude it's a piece of bread. It was the absurdity of the situation that prevented me from actually getting upset. I mean, he clearly has issues that have more to do with the bread. I'm more surprised that he was rude at all. People get shot for much less in that neighbourhood.

Ugh what a crappy shift.

I think he's probably just having huge money issues and blew up at you because made a mistake. I probably would have gotten really upset if I were you though.
