Apologies for my activity being all over the place. I'm working 40 hours a week now and I'm usually drained when I get home.

Due to Photobucket being a bunch of backstabbing liars, most of the OP links I've made are now broken. I'm working to restore them presently!

OMG! What is the deal with Photobucket?!!! They will no longer host photos unless you pay them $399.00 USD a year! I thought this was a joke until I signed into my account and read their new policy statement on Terms of Service. :-( All my posted photos are going to disappear! This is unconscionable!

I recently signed up for their $99.00 USD plan to stop all the advertisements and ad-spam, but they made no mention that soon I wouldn't be able to post my photos!

Please help! What other image hosting sites do you guys use?

They could at least like before even if the PBs were full let you still post the images.

7 years saved in 5 accounts full of the stuff!

Gifsets are too hard to post on FF from Tumblr.

Twitter can't help much either.



I have to pay for these to use.

If only I could move stuff at least somehow.

So many OP's don't work anymore.

Holy cow Jaime! I'm so sorry this happened to you! I know you have a huge amount of pictures. This is terrible! I can't believe that PB can get away with this! This is literally extortion!

It's actually 400 dollars for 3rd party hosting each account!

I found I had a lot backed up of stuff that I never would have been able to find again since most was long before Tumblr.

They were from LJ & art sites.

I found a loop hole that is good for me in some ways.

It will be great to others.

You can get into accounts to download if you are logged into another account.

I luckily fig. this out. Downloading gifs aren't included though now.

I had up to 19 Spuffy folders last I saved.

I'm up to 22 folders with lots of gifs.

I saved about 500 images in majority of all Spuffy folders.

Not paying since I fig. how to save some of my newest stuff that aren't gifs.

So if you wanted sign up to be able to be logged in you download from any PB full folders.

Not hard to move as long as they aren't gifs. Not have to deal with using your account that locked you out.

You don't have to copy every image or save one by one. Just download entire folders.

I hope this makes sense.

Now we have to fig. the best free hopefully site to use for posting on FF & storage.

I'm gonna try to explain it again.

You can get into accounts to download if you are logged into another account.

I luckily fig. this out. You already have only one account. Just sign up for another & go to the full PB that is locked.

It will work if you are logged in already in another account to download anything you want or need except gifs or vids.

Just click on download album & it should work fine with reg images.

I think that's the easiest way to explain it.

It's honestly a very poor situation that I"m angry photobucket put us in Especially since our OPs have been hosting on the site for so long in so many of our threads. Getting them moved and rehosted somewhere else is going to take time

I ended up having to buy the locked account b/c I need to able to still post images on FF.

I also have lots of new free space to move some things from the others that won't host the images.

Not planning to do much of this unless I have to for gifs in the other PBs

Posting them to help fig. what to save easier on SMG.


My dad found that you can cancel any time in the year & not pay the 400 dollars.

So this week I'm going to look for a good hosting site hopefully free but not sure if it's just PB that makes you pay for some things.

I also don't have to deal with ads right now as I post from my main PB too.

There is no way I'm gonna keep paying 400 dollars a year!

Even if moving all this stuff is the biggest bitch ever & I'm going through to see what gifs are still in good enough quality to save.

Right now I don't have time to worry about fixing OPs.

I plan to deal with that once I have a new host. I do have a few that now work again some if I made them a long time ago on SMG with this main PB.

I couldn't be more angry & really hope something is able to be done to change this.

I just don't know how they can do this?
