I think the hair gel is a good and funny idea. And. I love Angel and would miss it terribly. In fact, I'd probably quit watching TV all together.

But...

Do we really know that DB actually wants the show to continue? I mean, I've heard him say in some interviews that he has been interested in some film parts that he couldn't do b/c of Angel. And lets face it kids, he's been playing this role for 8 years. He has a few years left of being able to play the leading man, heart throb, action hero. Shouldn't we let him pursue that? He has given us SO MUCH. Shouldn't we let him off the hook?

DB has been hitting the talk show circuit to promote Angel, like he did last year. And I've heard him and other cast members enthuse about the new direction for the series. The cast are refreshed and enthusiastic; not pining for other material. Plus, DB has done three movies already while working on Angel. He can do both.

Can one just stick a mailing label directly on the hair gel and send it, or does it have to be in a box?

I've heard of people mailing soup cans and bricks directly through the mail, but I think that was pre 9-11.

i was wondering the same thing. if we put it in a box, you can pretty much guarantee they won't open it. not with the whole anthrax in the mail scare. maybe i'll just put it in a fed ex envelope and send it that way.

I think I might try just sticking the label directly on the gel container if I can find one with a safety wrapper on it or something.
