i lump angel/angelus as the same but oddly i still don't like darla/angel so i think it is a bit wierd that i dig dargelus well enough although i do have to admit barring cordy or spike i would prefer angel/darla to any other pairing for him

I hate the Angel/Fred kiss as well, it wasn't even a real kiss... it was tossed in as a shipper bone and I hate crap like that...

I hate shipper bones. I'm not a Angel/Fred fan, but there are some people who are and if it's not going to happen... don't tease them. I see it all the time in other shows. How can we make all the shipper groups happy? You can't get over it.

I shipped Gunn/Gwen during season 4, and I thought Gunn and Cordy might have been cute for a while there in early season 2, although by seasons 3 and 4, I wouldn't have wanted to see them as an actual couple anymore. Gunn/Fred is the only Gunn ship I actively object to, though.

To address a couple of the new discussion questions:

2. Did you like Willow's appearance? Yeah, I actually liked Willow more in Orpheus than I did in most of season 7 BtVS. It was nice to see someone a little less weighed down with angst at that point in the season.

3. Who was your favorite guest star? Willow, Faith, or Darla? Why? Faith, for sure, because we got to see so much growth from her in her episodes of Ats. Plus, she fit in very well with the Ats characters; she had interesting preestablished relationships with both Angel and Wes that it was nice to see explored again, and I enjoyed her dynamics with both Connor and Gunn (speaking of Gunn ships . . . ). Willow was fun to have around, but that was more fun cameo than full-on character growth, she didn't have as much interesting character stuff going on. I liked seeing Darla again (in some form, at least), but again, that wasn't as much about her as a character as it was about the PTBs trying to step in and try and sway Connor to do the right thing. I loved the Darla/Connor scenes, but in the end, they were really more about Connor than Darla.
