I thought it would be good to start one of these up because they produce some of the best discusions!

Season 1 has to be my fav season, the introduction to another town in the buffverse. I think season 1 had the best set of characters and some of the best episodes.

Season 1 and 5 were my favs, Season 1 got us into it all i sawe every ep like 2 or 3 times and i loved the one with him and Buffy by far the best season ever

Season one was really good, I would have to say my fav time for Angel was before they really hit their business off and they were struggling.

I recently decided to rewatch Angel from the beginning ^________^ :love:

So I dug out my S1 dvd set and got to it :D

Last epi I watched was The Ring (where Angel is captured and has to battle demons in some underground arena) And we had the first appearance of the evil one Lilah :lol: hehhehe :P

he was my favorite character.
i loved the episode(bad w/titles)when spike and oz were on it.

My favorite S1 episode is "To Shanshu in LA", which in my opinion is one of the best season finales EVER. It's soooooo tight, everyones on, everything worked, the episode just thrilled me.

My other favorite S1 episode HAS to be "Parting Gifts".... It's both incredibly sad and endlessly funny. Wesley being a "rogue demon hunter" was THE funniest in the history of funny. :lol: Cordelia missing Doyle was so heartbreaking because you knew how many opportunities to really connect with him she passed up.

It's so sad.

S1 is amazing, truly. The Pilot was badass, I mean, Angel is written like it's the end of tv... The dialogue is so sharp and so witty and smart, it rivals any movie.

Everyone had such timing. Plus, the emotion of Angel's departure from Sunnydale carries over beautifully to give the first season a sense of loss but also a glimpse of a new start.

I can't help but tear up when Angel turns his back to leave Sunnydale in "Graduation p.2" so whenever I watch ATS S1, I get chills.

I've finished S1 now!!
