This episode featured one of Spike's very best moments in either show
 Everything he said in that monologue about Angel on the roof was both hilarious and entirely accurate  It also proved that James Marsters suited both shows.  __________________

So much of this episode was so ironic to me after having watched the entirety of Buffy. First off, Spike dubbing Angel at the beginning was hilarious.
 But of course, at this point, he was still all out evil and hated the Slayer. It was weird to go back to evil Spike and him berating Angel for falling in love withe Buffy when he ends up falling for her too, not that he was to know that at the time and it was a good while later but still. The irony was mad lol. It was nice seeing Oz! I liked how Cordy was pleased to see him. Poor Angel being tortured after Spike had him captured by this other vampire.  He was the creepiest one yet, especially when he went after children! I loved Cordy, Doyle and Oz saving Angel. And how Angel risked going into the sunlight to take the other guy down into the water. I get that Angel didn't want to wear the ring, but I loved the look on his face as he put it on and finally breathed in the sunlight. It makes sense to destroy it if he wasn't going to wear it, to save it getting into the wrong vampire's hands again, especially Spike. I was really proud of Cordy in this one, she seems like she is truly growing as a character and I'm liking her a whole lot more now than when she was on Buffy. __________________
