She did, but she was kind of taking the good parts, not the bad parts - even though she declared herself a bitch
 But, I think it's the good kind  We never saw her really be cruel in L.A. like we had in Sunnydale. & it did work out well for them all, Cordy got her dream apartment, Doyle got some graditude for finding it for her & Angel got Cordy out of his place! __________________

I think that was really a sign that Cordelia had grown as a person. Once you get out of High School, it's an entirely different world

Definitely & it would have been boring if everyone had stayed the same throughout the series. But that early time with Angel, Doyle & Cordelia really helped them grow a lot in such a short amount of time

I love the three of them together. Watching old episodes of the show reminds me how great it started out, and as much as I love everything that came later, there was nothing like Cordy/Doyle/Angel ever again.

The first season of the show is really nostalgic and wonderful, and the bond between these three characters in the early episodes is a big part of why

Season 1 is more than likely my favorite season
There's just something about how Angel, Cordy, and Doyle come together really quickly and bond in the same way, only to be torn apart by Doyle's death. And then Wesley comes in, and things start to heal a little bit.__________________

To be honest, I'd have to agree on S1 being my favourite for the same reasons. I think the arc in S2 with Darla is incredibly done and a brilliant season of TV, but personally for me the feel of S1 just edges it.
