^ For me it is, it showed just how far Angel would be willing to go for Connor however it showed he can't go out in the sun like most parents and he will need help from his friends... but him saying he'll rush Connor to whatever he needs to go even if he doesn't make it. Unconditional love.

It is good in that regard, but also it doesn't really make sense that Angel would die getting Connor to the hospital, leaving Connor without him for the rest of his life, instead of letting one of his friends do it

^ He was stubborn right there but I think he was just trying to make a point... and I loved that his reason was that he made a promise to his mother (Darla). So I think at that moment Angel was dealing with a lot. He just saw Darla stake herself and he had to protect Connor from all harm... and the crazy ironically thing is that ultimately it was a person in the inner circle who was responsible for Holtz getting the baby Connor.
