Yeah, Connor was the most important person in his life & that's the end of it. It bugs me when people try to say that he loved Buffy or Cordelia more, Connor is the person he loves the most in his life.

Actually Buffy and Connor is who Angel loved most. He left both to give the both a normal life. Cordelia isn't in the equation.

Well, I think that's where shipper bias comes into play. Angel loved Connor the most, he's his child, that kind of love goes beyond unconditional & it's stronger than romantic love.

I love that scene, it's such a good speech from Angel and something that Connor really needed to hear, even though it took him a while to really understand it.

It's not a shipper bias on me. When you have inconsistencies on a TV show, then you know which ship had the most love. Angel Season 3 was very inconsistent on Angel being in a relationship.

It did take Connor time to understand it. :nod:

I'm not talking about Buffy vs Cordelia, this isn't the thread for it at all (actually, no thread here is for that purpose because that just descends into ship wars) & people can ship whoever they want, I'm definitely not going to waste time arguing over it. I'm talking about people who think that the romantic love that Angel had for anyone is stronger than the love he felt for Connor. If you think that, then you can't have a very high opinion of Angel...
