He did cause a lot of damage to both of them, & I think they'll both always carry those scars with them :(

Yeah, I don't think things ever could have gone that bad between them if it wasn't for Holtz. I think they would have been close & would have had a great relationship for Connor's whole life otherwise :sigh:

It is, & I feel like that's the happy life that Angel & Connor both deserved :sigh:

Although, there still would have been loads of angst - with Angel worrying about Connor's safety all the time, Connor going through a phase where he resented that he couldn't have a normal life & wondering what it meant for him to be the offspring of two vampires.

And then, if Connor did live a long, happy life, at some point, Angel would still lose him. Which would be devastating for him no matter what - but imagine him watching over his family for all of eternity, Connor's children, then his grandchildren, then his great grandchildren & so on :sigh:

It would have been such a beautiful story :melt:

Yeah, I would love to see it! & then maybe he would have got to experience some of the things that he missed out on with Connor, he'd want to be there for all their milestones - might have been a bit overbearing sometimes :lol:
