What would you have like Tara to do on the show, story-wise? Or were you happy with what we received?

I don't really know what I'd like her to do but I would have liked to just know more about her. Aside from "Family" we don't know much about her and she didn't seem like she had much depth or wasn't very fleshed out compared to a lot of the other characters. Don't get me wrong... I was very sad when she died but her impact might have been greater to me if I had known her better. She'll always be Willow's girlfriend... nothing more.

I agree I felt that her break up with Willow actually gave her a small identity because that was the only time that she wasn't just Willow's person. And I thought she had a great connection with Dawn and Buffy. She should have interacted with the gang more outside of just being there with Willow.

She was a great friend/sister to Dawn and I would have liked to see more than that but the only time we did see that was when she broke up with Willow. And when Joyce was sick she was there for Buffy, understood what she was going through. I would have liked to see that continue after she died.

Both her and Anya were on the outside so I could see that being something that connects them.

And they escaped together in Bargaining. They also waited for Xander and Willow to reach them.

Yesterday I watched Amber's guestin on Supernatural. It was on #2.03 - Bloodlust. She played a "good" vampire, who doesn't feed on humans.
I was so happy to watch this episode because of her.
It's a very nice episode and she is fantastic.

Also the character was way different from Tara!

I watched Family yesterday...
God... she and Willow are so sweet together.
Tara is so beautiful, so sweet, so shy... so adorable!
I loved that Tara-centric episode!

Has anyone read the books or webisodes that Amber has written or co-written? I'm reading a few this week. I'm halfways into Death's Daughter.

I wanted to see a lot more with Tara. She was such a good character in a completely different way that most people are good characters onscreen. She was good because she was a sweet, ethical, forgiving, and good person. She didn't have to be evil or incrediby eccentric to be a beloved character.

I really hoped that with a character like her we would get more scenes or episodes showing what Wicca really meant. I would have liked to see her celebrating Pagan holidays or doing other things that we know Willow wouldn't have done since the two women got into the Craft for different reasons. She was a lot closer to being a Wiccan than Willow was. I always saw Willow more as a Spellcaster or a Sorceress.
