I cant believe its been 20 years. And this show hasnt aged at all, everything is still perfect about it.

Buffy literally introduced me to so much, first fandom, first fanfic, and so many actors that I still love. And I'll always be thankful cause it gave me willow.

And all the amazing characters over the years

Buffy, faith, willow, and so many more.

It was really nice for the Sunnydale class to recognize everything she had some to protect them over the years. Also, for the class to acknowledge that Sunnydale is weird and weird stuff happens there.

Happy 20th Anniversary to my favorite show. I like its women empowerment. I'm still obsessed with this show to this day. Whenever I had these shows on television, it drove my mom nuts by the amount of times I've watched them. I'm hoping to be as strong as Buffy and Faith one of these days.

Happy 20th Buffyversary!

BTVS has meant so much to me over the years.

This really in a nut shell explains my love for this show & Buffy most of all.

I've read lots of posts about how BTVS & Buffy in general helps many fans.

There is someone for everybody to relate to & situations as well.

I think most relate to Buffy.

I know Buffy is the one I feel connected/related to the most though.

I think of this quote out of many amazing ones.

What Would Buffy Do?

I really feel old.

I'm currently doing a full re-watch of the show with my boyfriend, who's never seen it. He eventually tired of hearing me compare so many of the current shows we watch to Buffy.

The X-Files was the first show I got heavily interested in, but this show became a true obsession. Through it I discovered tons of new music (I was always buying new CDs because of songs I'd heard on the show). My own clothes were SO influenced by Buffy, as were a few of my haircuts and styles.

I was originally more into the high school seasons of Buffy, but after re-watching the later seasons, I warmed up to them quite a bit. It was a bit jarring to me, watching season 5, "The Body", having lost my own mother several years after the show ended (she'd been a fan of the show herself and we watched it together). The way it happened was similar to Buffy, it was so sudden, and I was close to the same age as Buffy was in the show. I also found I could relate more to the struggles of the later seasons: growing up, feeling lost during the process, making bad decisions.

Can't believe it's been 20 years since it's debut.

I watched Buffy all weekend long. Felt like yesterday, the show hasn't aged at all.

"The Body" is still the one episode that makes me cry no matter what. I liked Joyce as a character. It was really sad to lose her.

This show is just the gift that keeps on giving

when you’re going through a really horrible part of your life, like your teenage years, you feel alone. and buffy was a way to tell the audience you’re not alone.
