I think she did too, logically, she'd know that there wasn't anything else she could have done, & ultimately Buffy made that choice to jump - but how could anyone not think of things they could have done differently to stop it all from happening? :cry:

And we already know she blamed herself for being The Key and for people being put in danger to protect her. :(

Well, lets put it this way: her mommy just died, so of course she's going to be upset, and she's a teen at that time, so that's a fragile time, regarding emotional maturity... not necessarily going to cause a problem, but to a teen girl, her mom's her heroine, so of course she's going to be distraught.
Course, that doesn't excuse attempting to kidnap her mom from the next life, which, as her friends (including her sister) told her it'd be dangerous at best.
Then again, that'd be my views on the topic, of course.

She obviously wasn't thinking staight & didn't realize what she was doing, & she did the right thing in the end, so I don't really hold all that against her :shrug:
