Same here. I liked her with Xander, but I never really felt like they were soul mates really. More like opposites attract

Plus, it's the way that their stories paralleled each other, with the visions & all & how her death was a lot like his. It just felt like there was something much deeper there, they were connected in this other way that's really hard to try & explain

& when she saw his face! & his 'we'll never know'

Exactly. I never really felt like Xander and Cordy had the same connection that Cordy and Doyle had. In a way, they both were at the same level of maturity for each other, as well as what you said about how they paralleled it each other

Yeah, they just had something. It was like they were meant to meet & both become these champions, but only actually know each other for a small time
