24 - Standard Avatars

Hi Everyone,

A few years ago all posters with under 101 posts were able to use a 'Standard Avatar' from a selection pre-uploaded to the site. When the size of avatars changed from 45 x 45 to 100 x 100, a decision was made to eliminate the default avatars. However, we would like to bring them back and we would like all posters to have a chance to submit avatars for consideration. Posters will still need 101 posts to upload a custom avatar of their choice.

We're going to add 5 avatars per board. All Moderators will pick 10 and the Graphics Team will then select the final 5 from those 10.

To make things easier, we will be doing this in categories starting with TV Shows: Present.

TV Shows: Present Feb 1st - Feb 15th
Female Celebrities Feb 15th - Mar 1st
Male Celebrities Mar 1st - Mar 15th
Music Artists Mar 15th - Mar 29th
Sci-fi/Fantasy and Fan Extras Mar 29th - Apr 12th
TV Shows: Past Apr 12th - Apr 26th
General Discussion Apr 26th - May 10th

New boards will get their 5 avatars as soon they have been made permanent.

Rules for avatars:
1) Please don't include any text on the avatars.
2) No animated avatars.
3) Keep in mind that the avatars should be a general representation of the board.
4) You may submit up to 5 avatars (no more) per person per board.
5) Apart from rules 1 & 2, whatever style, colors, brushes, textures you use is up to you!
6) All avatars must be 100px x 100px

Please only submit avatars that you have made yourself. If you need help/suggestions please check out the thread here on the Fan Art board.

If you have any avatars you would like to submit for this board, please post them on this thread, you may start doing so right away!

Tia As we discussed I 'd give FourOnesix to post a few annie /renee ones you if you want a few Tony ones vicky Jack bauer ones also love a Chloe one

This sounds like a great idea. It will be great for newbies to be able to have a choice of icons until they reach 101 posts.

I have pictures so that won't be a problem for me.

Was on Fan pop going to post a few new icons avatars from Season 8 just as samples to see if anyone likes them or not / also added three non season 8 pics Tony michelle/ tony and David palmer

once tia and others add a frw more in there posts we can whittle down the pics we would like ot have used as 24 icons . other avatars tia or myself will move to picture icon thread

I sent, late last night , Fouronesix a pm to post his annie/renee avatars .

then we all decide which ones we want to make permenant !!!

later on ill put up one or two audrey Jack ones ,but so far the ones I found have words and these have to be photos only .
