More on this case, it seems any statement quoted from Brooke shields where not authorized by her or was anything she said .

Kiefer Sutherland's attorney says the actor was "neither the instigator nor a wrongdoer" in the incident that led to a misdemeanor assault charge against with the 24 star, who is accused of head-butting a fashion designer during a dispute involving Brooke Shields.

"We are troubled by the untruthful and self-serving information circulating regarding Kiefer Sutherland and events of last Monday evening," attorney Michael C. Miller said in a statement.

"We are confident, however, that the investigation being conducted by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office and the NYPD will confirm that Kiefer Sutherland was neither the instigator nor a wrongdoer in this incident. Out of respect for this law enforcement process, Kiefer Sutherland will not be making any comment."

Sutherland was charged with third-degree assault after turning himself in to police Thursday. He was released and must return for a court hearing.

An attorney for Shields said in a separate statement issued by Sutherland's publicist Monday that past statements attributed to Shields about the incident were "neither true nor authorized."

"These statements were obviously made by those who were not in attendance at the party and constitute their version of events. While at the party, she was bumped into by Jack McCollough and Kiefer Sutherland became concerned," said the statement from attorney Gerald Lefcourt. "Kiefer has always been a gentleman in her company. Both Jack and Kiefer are friends of Ms. Shields and she regrets this unfortunate situation."

so finally Brooke shields has come in a defense of Kiefer or at least making sure she isn't quoted wrong. Gee I wonder if her former co star and his , Kim Raver, called Brooke to see what was going on and defend Kiefer .

Thanks for posting that.

I can't wait for next season already. It was interesting to see Jack more vulnerable this season, being infected he couldn't fight back as much as we usually see him do, so it was very different and in a way refreshing. I'm really hoping that next season Jack won't be on his own so much, so lonely, now he has Kim back, he has Terri his granddaughter, he has his family back. And I think that will make a huge difference. Of course though I don't want him changing too much as it just wouldn't be right .

Kiefer Sutherland on MTV Movie Awards part of giving a special award to Ben stiller along with Zach Efron and Triumph the insult Dog .

As they make fun of Ben and his movies Kiefer does this whole method acting bit "crying etc it is funny stuff . notice Zach doesn't know how to be on stage not have hair in his face ...

Tuesday June 2nd Los Angeles, CA. **EXCLUSIVE** Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer and Benito Martinez as Victor Aruz film a scene for the 8th season of the hit show "24". In this scene Sutherland assist Martinez who has a gunshot wound. The two are trying to elude law enforcement who are nearby and looking for them.

In between takes Kiefer spits. Kiefer also wanted to be a camera operator for one of the scenes but was not allowed to actualy film the scene but instead just rehearsed as the camera operator.
