Yeah I guess....if they would have ruined the character on screen though, I think I just prefer remembering how much I loved the character

I still reckon it could be all worked out with Chase- I mean there are two sides to every story so maybe we got the wrong impression about how it was left between the two...

I don't think he was a jerk, I do believe she just drifted away from him around the time she found out Jack had 'supposedly' died. I don't think he was a jerk, I just believe sometimes people can drift away....

I agree but even when we get Chase story it won't really change anything for me.

I don't hate Chase, I still love him but just don't ship Chase/Kim together....

I liked them together, and I would side with him over early-Kim as he was rational, whereas Kim was ludicrous.

I read the book before the movie was made . Perhaps James was hired being Kiefer was in "Stand Buy Me". Similar as in the movies was about young boys dealing with adversity and having to grow up faster .

I love the movie and the book. Actually, it´s my favorite movie! I watch it at least once a month. Though I have seen the movie first and then read the book (in school).

Have seen "Stand by me" several years ago and to be honest hardly remember it.

Kiefer was one of older like 16-17 yr olds the main cast was young boys . Some of who went onto be stars one died before he was 21 due to drug abuse do River Phoenix Will weaton went on to do Star trek next generation and moves Jerry O'Connell went onto to TV and movies .

then there is Kiefer we all know what has done beside 24 and way before 24 he did some really good movies.

James did a move called the Departed he had a big role in the movie it was huge hit and had many big name hollywood actors in it
