Rewatching 24 at the moment and I love that Tony came back to help Jack in early S4.

Makes me sad thinking about what happened a few seasons later.

That's one of the best moments to re-watch!
Yes it is sad to see what happened seasons later, really upset with the writers on that.

Again, totally agreed. Had he not made it personal, I could see Jack maybe going as far as speaking on his behalf! But when he brought Kim into it, all hope of reconciliation will be greatly damaged...
