Yeah that scene is why Jack is my number 1 character, Tony being number 2, because Jack is normally right, whereas Tony let's either his emotions or pride or his job security get in the way of his judgement, whereas Jack normally is a better judge of a situation.

I can understand that... although I still like Tony before Jack... I definitely understand that. Jack is the guy who's always right in my eyes.
I do think Jack let his emotions get involved when Kim is a part of anything... that's probably really the only time.

I was thinking Teri but I didn't mention him.

That's one reason I remember being so upset with Jack during Season 3, when he told Michelle to let Saunders catch her when she could've escaped.. cause if Teri & Kim Bauer was in that same situation during S1, I truly doubt he would have agreed with that orders.

Although Jack plan went through, that's one of the first time I fully agreed with Tony over Jack.

^Oh yeah for sure. If Jack wouldn't let Chase in the field b/c he was worried about Kim, I sincerely doubt he would have told Kim to go back to her captures.

In fairness though, had Jack not told her to surrender, what would have happened? The only way out she found, by my memory, was a locked gate. So she would have kept running around until she was found by Saunders and possibly shot if she is still intent on escaping. Yes, it helped the mission by getting Saunders out into the open for an exchange, but it was also the safest move for Michelle.

I understand what you are saying, but what I'm saying that if the roles were reverse, Jack would be 1000000000000000000000000% against anyone telling Kim to run back to her captures...
We have no idea if Michelle would've made it out or got captured again, but she did a wonderful job escaping.
It was a great choice by Jack to let Michelle get caught again in exchange for Saunders.
Although they always had leverage as long as they had Jane Saunders.

I remember that scene very perfectly, Jack was so against it... and understandably so. BUT that moment shows that when it's Jack family on the line, he understands what others are going through more.

Like if it was someone that wasn't Kim, Jack would've told them "THIS IS THE ONLY WAY!" and did all of that craziness. lol

So Although I always usually agree with Jack, when he let Michelle get captured again, it was one of those scenes where I really felt for Tony although I understood Jack reasoning.

Always the scene where Tony returns to save Jack in Season 4.

I loved their scene from episode 7.03, the ending with them sitting in front of the White House.. I'm not sure if that's the exact episode but I liked it.

I enjoyed when Tony died in Jack hands.

It was a sad moment cause Tony is my favorite character but to see that emotion from Jack was just so heartbreaking. They had so many great moments.
