Literally could not agree anymore. I'd be gutted if they brought Tony back and not to find some kind of redemption with Jack

I loved how different their bromance was, at times at war but always friends... hopefully if Season 9 returns, that can continue to happen...

So at what point does it reach the finished article, as it was? You say the episode showed the friendship it was building to be, when did it reach the point where the friendship was built, the friendship at its peak, if you will?

I think probably at the end of Season 2, I think S1... they really weren't that close at all, mostly because of how much Tony was jealous of Nina relationship with Jack... but towards the end of the season, after he sees everything Jack does, he starts to get him more and helps Teri out... and that is the start of the building.

In the beginning of S2, Jack doesn't really trust anyone at CTU besides Tony, and that's saying a lot...see as how Jack shouldn't really trust anyone after S1. So I say at the end of S2, the friendship really become something, and of course their undercover agency in S3 grew them closer as real friends.

Also there is three years between S2 and S3...that's a long time for a friendship to develop... I'd like to think that Jack would have been best man at Tony's wedding...

Jack was busy doing some illegal things to intend a wedding. lol
Also best man... I don't know if they were that close yet... but I guess Jack makes more sense than anyone else.
