Season 2 especially... it could have ruined everything for him, but he kept sticking with Jack Bauer until the end. He truly believed everything he said.

Spot on, though I think Palmer being the sort of man he is, I think he'd want to eliminate all doubt and be absolutely sure before starting a war. I think his faith in Jack is only part of it. I think he wisely wanted to be absolutely sure before doing something with such consequences.

Agreed, because that would've been a major difficult time for him, if he started wars with other countries for nothing in the end. Thank jesus for Jack Bauer. lol Cause wow, wouldn't he have been called one of the worst Presidents for starting war with innocent countries.

Totally agreed. Though even without Jack, I still like to think Palmer would have had to have been certain.

Kind of, because Jack was just the main guy to tell everyone what was false. Michelle talked Tony into believing in, because of Jack... so many jobs Jack had on the line during Season 2. lol Without Jack... I don't see how everything would've went the same.
David is a smart man, but he did listen a lot to Jack, which was very wise on his part.

So I guess without Michelle and Jack, the country would be screwed.

Well without Michelle, Jack would have just left CTU, possibly never to return. Michelle talked Jack into talking to Ali, who then went to Palmer. So in essence Michelle saved the world.

A compliment for Michelle... but not really that surprising, you'd do anything to be correct.
