OK, I'm willing to admit that I can't watch a show like 24 one week at a time. I wait with baited breath for the end of the season and purchase the DVD set as soon as it is released. Can't help it. There is something about turning off the rest of my life and watching my own personal 24 marathon with family and friends that appeals to me much more than weekly viewing. Bizarrely enough I'll watch re-runs on TV if I've already seen the season.

I used to comment to all my friends that the clocking beeping bit for every break got on my nerves while watching the DVD's. But then when the latest season came out and my friends taped it every week for me, the bloody commercials themselves did my head in. Now I don't complain about the clocking beeping bit.

Before I started watching the show, my mom already watched it, and I heard the beeping from the other room and I thought "how annoying is that

" and now I'm completely addicted to that sound
