Ironically a new actress for 24 Season 8 turns out is the real life long time girlfriend of Carlo Rotta both live and act in Canada. Here is the information ,she kinda says or the Reporter states Carlo as former 24 cast member.

Nazneen Contractor is busting with joy.

The Toronto actress, who stars in the Canadian TV show, The Border, has been hearing loads of good news.

First, she was just now informed by producers of the mega hit Fox show 24 she will star in 13 episodes of the upcoming eighth season.

Second, she was just now informed The Border was bought by American television network, ION, and season one will air September 2010, just months after every one around the world with a TV set or Internet access has seen her on 24.

Thirdly, but certainly not lastly, she's in love.

Her boyfriend is another Canadian from Toronto and a former 24 actor himself, Carlo Rota. (MORRIS)

"It's real," the 26-year-old says with excitement while still managing to maintain a properly clipped accent.

Contractor came to L. A. in the spring to audition after her character was killed off in season two of The Border.

"I was very available," she recalls.

24 producers, luckily including a few Canadians who knew her work, cast her -- but for only two episodes--as Kayla Hashemi, the beautiful daughter of an Islamic president. After wrapping the two episodes in June, she got an unexpected call saying they wanted her back--for 11 more.

especially on 24, the only paring I love on 24 was Tony&Michelle

Yeah it's not really a good idea to ship couples on this show as it's usually only a matter of time before one of them dies.

Well I thought at the time Tony/Michelle were safe to ship as they wouldn't kill either of them off, but yeah I was completely wrong about that. I hope they don't do anything stupid and kill Chloe or Morris off.

I would be shocked if Chloe got killed off right now but then again it seems like Janis could be the new Chloe so I won't be shocked with this show
