Yeah, I've heard a lot of that too. I actually haven't read a single thing saying that she herself isn't doing an amazing job, but the show isn't great. I'm torn (like I was with the Nine, but I don't love this nearly as much as I loved that) between wanting this show to do well, and wanting it to fail so we can have Audrey back. But there's nothing saying that that would happen. The show could fail and 24 could continue on without her. But I hope not.

That whole part of the season was both my favorite (because, honestly, it hadn't been all that good, and it was great to have Audrey back) and one of the saddest things ever. It's not possible to watch that without realizing just how much he loves her, and it's heartbreaking.

I miss Audrey.

I miss her more than I miss the show itself.

Yeah, realising that he still loves her even though she doesn't recognise him just breaks my heart.

I think for me it has a lot to do with the fact that Audrey was the reason I stuck with Season 6, because she's my favorite character and they did a good job with her in Season 5. The end of Season 6 was heartbreaking, though. Jack loses everything, and I was really hoping that the two of them would be able to get through it all.

I'm incredibly frustrated with 24 in general, though.

They decided to kill off everybody interesting, and now it's a bunch of new characters, and they had to completely reinvent the concept and ressurect somebody just to get everybody interested in the show again. And this is quickly turning into a rant that belongs on a different thread.

Unfortunately I'm very frustrated with the show as well. I just don't get how you can start a season SO well like they did in season 6, 4 wonderful episodes, and then just....you know?

True. I hope they don't totally kill off Audrey, though. That would be devastating.

I think having Audrey actually die would break Jack. I think he can deal with not being with her in order to keep her safe (like Heller convinced him to do - I was totally rooting for him to just take her, get in a car, and leave) but there's only so much he can deal with, and Kim or Audrey dying would push him over the edge.

This is never gonna happen, really, that's what I strongly believe

If they wanted to kill off Audrey they'd have done that already, there were plenty of opportunities in every season. With her, instead of the "oh we ran out of stories for her" and the kill of, they simply let we know that she's away because of what happened to her. It's very sad, but we're left with hope, at least
