| Master Fan | Nah nothing, it's just that evry now and then when I talk to my sister I feel sad that we're not close as we used to be, and I get the feeling she thinks I'm stupid or that she's bored to talk to me. But then again I'm too much of a paranoid, I always have the feeling that no one likes really likes me. | Sara, good luck for your exams Aww Ju, sometimes I feel the same way, except I've never been really close to my sister. I dunno, maybe it's the age difference, she's 12 and I'm 16. The weird thing is that I'm more comfortable talking to my step-sister who's 13 than with my own sister. But well, what can I say ... | |||

| Master Fan | My sister and I are 6 years apart, but the age difference was never an issue for us, and it still isn't. What changed is that we're far from each other, she has her own life now, married, with her own house and stuff. It's like she IS the grown up now and I'm not. When she lived here it felt like we were equals, you know, and now it's not the same, she found her way, and I still haven't done that. We're just not in the same place anymore, you know, and from now on that's what it's gonna be like, I just have to accept that, but it's hard, there was a time when she was the only friend I had, and the one person I loved the most, and now it's like this part of my life is gone. I've been feeling like this for 2 years and the feeling doesn't go away, it just comes and goes every now and then. In France, when you're sixteen, you have to choose if you want to go to Literature, Science or Economy & Social. Most people go to Science because if you graduate with Science you have more choices for ... jobs, kinda. I want to go to Literature because it's what I find the most interesting and I totally suck at sciences. If you wanna go to Literature, the most important things are French, English, Spanish/German (depending on what you choose between the two languages - I got Spanish) and History. I have great marks at English and Spanish but my French and History marks are not so good ... and I'm really afraid I'll be held back a year because I really don't want to, I really wanna go to Literature this year, I don't want to have to go through this year again ... I'll have the results on friday but I'm so nervous, I guess there are like 65% chances they won't let me go to Literature ... | |||
