Ok TV line.com reporting that Brian grazer cofounder of image entertainment. Has heated up talk of a 24 movie . He has not pitched the new movie idea to Fox yet . It is reported he is very strongly in favor of the movie.

Nice to read talk once more starting up for another 24 !!

if its a movie I hope its like 'redemption' only longer (and with more action) just in real time and not jumping around 10 0r 15 hours.

According to sources, Imagine Entertainment — perhaps buoyed by the positive buzz generated by Fox’s 24: Live Another Day revival — is kicking around a new feature idea. Imagine Chairman Brian Grazer is said to be particularly keen on the pitch, which has yet to be brought to 20th Century Fox.
A 20th rep declined to comment.
Last winter, while promoting 24: LAD, Kiefer Sutherland maintained that the 24 movie still had a (faint) pulse. “The film’s an ongoing situation,” he said. “There’s always an opportunity to do that.”
The current movie chatter is complicated somewhat by the fact that Fox, the television network, will likely want to mount another 24 miniseries in the near future.
“I loved this year’s season of 24,” Fox Networks Group Chairman CEO Peter Rice said in July. “I’ve always been a fan. We haven’t had a specific conversation about it coming back yet, but I’m sure we will in the future. It’s a wonderful franchise. When you look at the show itself, it has many more stories to tell. I think we need to sit down and talk to the creators.”

Agree! although if there was a movie, I'd expect that.
Redemption was pretty good.... I totally forgot a bit how Redemption went, did it cover two hours?

yeah it was 2 hours I think. (90 minutes without commercials lol)

Really? i don't remember it being commercial free?

I wish I still had that on my DVR.

It wasn't commercial free, but its like an episode of 24, commercial free (I.E. on the DVD) is 40 minutes instead of an hour. So Redemption, with adverts on the TV, was two hours but on the DVD, commercial free, it was about 90 minutes...

Oh thanks! I know that FOX doesn't air things commercial free so ... yeah. lol
Oh that makes sense! I have the DVD, but never watched it.

I actually have two copies of Redemption I think. lol One I brought and one with the series box I brought.
