I'd take that for a tittle . Kinda a hint of base story of 24 movie . Jack as originally thought is in the run . He killed a lot of Russians . I can see it as be the end he is back with his family . But what happens between then should be lots of action !

Things have been looking promising for the 24 movie lately, with a finished screenplay by Mark Bomback that Kiefer said he loved, and producer Brian Grazer stating they were casting the main villain.

But things appear to have hit a snag with Kiefer Sutherland revealing in an interview from yesterday that he’s frustrated with all the delays and less optimistic about being able to start filming soon.

We have a script that’s fantastic. The difficulty right now is that the schedule for Touch is really demanding. We will finish in the end of April, I think at one point it was supposed to be a little earlier than that. And then we would start up [on the movie] quite quickly. So it’s trying to find the time in the middle to make the film. I was probably more optimistic about starting in May a couple weeks ago than I am right now.

But it is definitely something I’ve been trying to do for five years. I’ve had such an amazing experience on 24. I loved the character, I love the genre – it’s really my favorite genre of film, which is that of the thriller. It’s something I deeply, deeply want to do. And it’s very frustrating to keep kind of running into these hurdles and blocks.

Kiefer had previously blamed Touch for “having to push the movie back about seven months” and now it looks to be responsible for yet another delay.

Another interview he seemed to mention either starting touch S-2 back up in July or August or another late Summer project he wanted to do . Unless he is the star or co star of that project he may have to step away from that project.

normal 24 episode took 2 weeks to film and 1 week after to edit be ready for airing .

Movies depending how fast locations can take up to 3 months or more to film . Say they have him in Europe, save movie build sets ,like S-8 in NY all done green screen or added computer background . time wise best to have it filmed in around California .



It is up to him fox Image to get this going Touch messed it up .perhaps he should have started Touch earlier he of all people knows that doing Tv runs into delays. Fires in California illness problems with scripts etc . so Fox and Image maybe pushing for the movie to be out in 2012 well now id say good chance early 2013 .

Rob it wil get filmed just not as early . We will have a movie news to discuss buy early May

Too be honest, I'm surprised he even decided to audition for Touch if it's this stressful. I mean with a television show the filming is always hectic. It's like usually 22 episodes a season for some shows so filming isn't going to be easy if you have something else to do.

Anyway I love how dedicated he is to want to get this 24 movie to start filming. He's going to be one busy man.

thanks for that Rob seems to basic answer we have to wait and see. does he delay Touch season 2 and 2ndly ,he doesn't know how Touch will do in ratings , if say the final 6 episodes ratings drop who is to say Fox says to Kiefer we are not doing season 2 ...

2interviews and others is this movie is in his gut of a must make movie . Again if Touch ,if renewed gets pushed back then i think he would if given the choice too delay Touch and do the movie right . When he said obstacles ,is it time frame for making movie .need 2 months to make a good movie

When Idol ends ,not sure what show will be Touch lead in ? So they wont have 18-21 million tuning in at 8 pm for idol .

This seriously annoys the **** out of me. I'm starting to feel better about what HoGo says rather than Kiefer....HoGo at least says lots of peeps from both Imagine and 20th working on it...
