"Day 4: 3:00PM-4:00PM", Episode #409.
Jack discovers the identity of the CTU traitor; Behrooz seeks medical treatment for his wounded mother, while running from his murderous father.

Hoping for more Araz fam scenes since we didn't get all that much last week!

I haven't posted here before, but this show is just too good!

Am I the only one who thinks this is one of the best, if not the best season so far? Season 1 had previously been my favorite, but this season has no annoying Kim, neverending kidnapping, amnesia, or any of the other things that seemed to drag the seasons out. I think the writers really benefitted from being able to totally plan out each episode and the overall season in advance.

Now on to this episode, is it wrong that I like Behrooz.. even his mom? I love how three dimensional they both are. And to have Dina want to protect her son over the "cause" is a nice touch. Too bad the President made the pardon not "non binding".

And I love it that Jack and Tony are working together. In the previous seasons we hadn't gotten to see them work one on one that much since Jack was always in the field and Tony in the office.

I could have done without the storyline of (whats his name?) and his mother. But I guess that was to give us a personal view of how people are really suffering and that the nuclear plant really was reacting and killing people.

The ending was great with Jack's deadpanned "Did you get that?"

I ask myself each week why I watch the previews They show so much. But I continue to do so.

Omg, this was one of the best eps ever, the last 10 mins, too exciting! Behrooz can not die, I love him too much! Omg, "Go to hell!"- to his father, such a great moment, he finally stood up to him!

And I loved just how sweet Tony was, he is the best & was a complete angel tonight! I loved Jack having his back!

I felt so much for Edgar, he was so sweet w/his mom.

I will post later, but I loved it, & this season is the best so far!

Dina is by far the best character on the show right now, IMO. New, complex, not a re-hash personality, and Shohreh just kicks SO much ass.

I was so bored.. Nothing really happened and none of the characters besides Jack and Tony interest me at all. I don't get the Shohreh worship.

I think her acting is so over the top. Behrooz is too whiny. The new president totally lacks the presence/intensity of Palmer. Audrey is so dull and I don't understand why she's there. The actor playing Heller annoys me, he needs to deliver his lines more naturally. Edgar, I'm sorry but I'd rather have Chloe back. Driscoll and Curtis are ok, the acting is ok at least.

I liked "Did you get that?" and that's all.

I don't get the Dina/Shohreh worship either... good character, but to me not quite as amazing as its hyped up to be.

I really like the season though. Edgar is good. Great to have Tony back. Jack is in fine form. Driscoll is growing on me. I have no feelings one way or the other about the new President, which is better than being annoyed by Palmer.

I agree with Magical that it's great to see Jack and Tony working together!

I don't necessarily worship Dina or Behrooz. But I like them. Their secondary story interests me. Some of the past seasons had secondary stories with the bad guys or terrorists and I wasn't as interested or didn't like the characters. But they interest me and the fact that they aren't just strictly "terrorists" but have other motivations and dimensions makes me like them more.

Since the first episode I've been waiting for Behrooz to stand up to his father. I was so happy to see it happen tonight!

I don't think Dina is an original or complex character. She's basically a rehash of Saunders and Sayid Ali who were devoted to their terrorist goals except when their children were threatened.

That is true. But with Saunders it seemed like his need to protect/get his daughter was something that the stuck on at the end of the season as another plot device and something to ultimately catch him. It seemed like more of a last minute type of thing.

For some reason with Dina and Behrooz I believe it more. Maybe because they've set it up from the beginning, or maybe because Shohreh portrays it better. Maybe I believe more that a mother would give up the cause to protect her child more than a father doing it. (that might be hypocritcal, but maybe true?) I just never cared one way or another about Saunders or his daughter. I just wanted Jack to catch him. But for some reason I do care about what happens to Dina and Behrooz in the end.

I was bored through

maybe half this episode. Audrey bores me as well, hopefully she will get better. Jack needs a good match, and so far she is not it IMO.

Erin and Curtis...Still can not get on board with Erin, ,but hopefully she will get better as well. And I could care less about Curtis right now. He needs to be established more. Then maybe I will care.

I have always liked Shoreh. But I have no sympathy for Dina at all. She freaks me out still. But Shoreh plays it amazingly well.

President Keeler is an ass. Palmer would never have gone back on his word. If he agreed upon a pardon (he let Nina go for cryin out loud) then it would happen. The writers are screwing up here..a dishonest president?? NEVER!!

Things I did like:

I could watch the screen all day long if Carlos was on it. Even if he is just sitting at a desk. In case nobody here knows it, I LOVE TONY!! SO I was ecstatic seeing him continue on with Jack. And Tony in the field...*faints* That agent guy better stop being nasty to him though. No Tony bashing allowed.

And Jack is always cool. I think I like him more this season because he doesn't have to deal with any Kim crisis (yet at least).

But YEAH FOR TONY!

Dina is so much more than Saunders, maybe its because the storyline is developed from the beginning its more believable. I don't worship Behrooz or Dina, but this last episode made me like him, and Shohreh is such an amazing actress, I've liked her since the middle so far, even though she might die, she is a terrorist, her ending is not going to be good.

Is there way a way someone can upload the last 10 minutes of this episode. I need to see it again

it was great. The last 10 seconds were good, understatemennt,

but it was awesome.

The whole thing last season was that the US does not negotiate with terroists, so while I don't like the new Pres, his actions fall in line with everything else.

Jack was great, and did I forget to worship Tony here, maybe I already did it in his thread, he was fantastic!

Just watched the episode.

I'm loving Jack and Tony working together again...its how it should be.

The jury is still out on Erin...not completely sure about her character.

I had a feeling that Berhrooz would somehow split up from his mother and end up in serious trouble.
