Me too! I liked how they answered each other when they weren't agreeing to something, but it looked like Will did have the upper hand. I think I need to read the first script to know who has higher authority

There wasn't much about them in the pilot but last night it was clear that they respect each other. Maybe even friends.

I mean some looks for Diane were enough to not say anything she wanted to say about Alicia.. That says a lot IMO because I don't see Diane as a person who would stay quiet for everyone

Mine too. They respect each others decisions, even when Will "corrected" Diane on Alicia's action.

Or maybe if we are right with the theory that Will's dad was a partner at the firm, maybe him and Diane were friends and she always knew Will and with time grew the respect towards each other.
