True, both were nice for a reason. Will, because he needed something and because of what happened the night before. Peter, because he was victorious also the night before

BTW, is there a particular reason as to why Peter should be nice with Will? He is a man who is trying to seduce his wife. We can have a justification for Alicia (in my book she doesn't have any) but are we trying to justify Will too.

I don't think Alicia is the only reason Peter and Will don't get along. It's a big part , but not the only.

I wonder what P/W interaction was before, like I wonder if they have ever had a confrontation.

I bet they had a confrontation before. We know Peter thinks Will is acting nice to you if he wants something or something like that. It was in one of the first episode, where Alicia had to work late. He said something about not trusting Will's nice attitude.

Apart from kissing her (which Peter doesn't know) he never did aything else before, that could make Peter not be nice to him

We don't know the history of what happened between these three. Maybe Peter has every right to feel "threatened" by Will

The thing that surprised me most is how civil they were and how much Peter liked Will having there and atop of that saying that he didn't remember Will being that nice..

I agree with both of us. That reference of him never being so nice plus Peter's doubts on Will's "nice guy" facade make me believe they have a past concerning both Alicia and work. I wonder if Peter would tell Alicia what he was supposed tro know about Will or not, maybe this is not the time.

I am so glad for this thread because last night I wanted to mention to mention something about them but was not sure which thread to put it on. So last night in IMDB someone mention something about the P/W when P mentioned Kalinda.
This is what the person said:

"It's true but that parting shot about Kalinda working at Stern Lockhart was really weird... like he was reminding Will that wherever he had been, Peter had been before (get my meaning?). I'm wondering if he was helping out Will to help or to show that he was more powerful than him and that he was in a position to help... I don't know. "

I find this to be an interesting analysis, looking at it from another perspective, what do you think?

Yes, he was in a good mood and in that sense I believe he was sincere, he was referring to some occurrences from their past.

I thought that them saying it was weird, because both know that. Peter knew Kalinda works for SLG and the other way around. It was a very weird convo
