Aren't they also showing it on some AMC channels? I read that overall ratings are like 1.5 million per episode which is good for cable.
Beth/Sarah parallels were good and I enjoyed that they went to basics but it was kinds too late to remember Beth. I saw Ksenia Solo in Lost Girl. Don't get the hate for her. Did people ship Cos with Dolphine girl really so hard? They're nice together, but still.

Okay, so I watched finale.

Overall I think it was the best or second best season. For me it's 4=1>3 part 2>2>3 part 1. Strange enough but I found 2nd season finale as the best one. Also enjoyed 3rd season finale.
Ugh, now I'm gonna wait for a year for next season which is the last one. Idk how to feel about it, 5 season is nothing to be ashamed but as a fan of long running shows I'm kinda dissapointed. I understand that it can't go on forever and like the first BBCA hit show they were involved in... but still. Can Netflix save it? LOOOL. Watch Tatiana get some bad ABC show like Mireille Enos to break out hearts.

Well BBCA is a joint venture between AMC and BBC so I think they aired the premiere last season and this season on all their networks including Sundance, We and AMC to promote it. I don't think they showed the whole thing.

Especially a small Canadian show that got so much social media presence. They literally have no promoting to do to get it across the web.
Not to mention they sold it to a lot of countries.

I think it's a case of paranoia before the facts. They read spoilers about Shay before the season even started and they got pre-emptively mad at the show for killing their ship (when really, that's not at all what happened) and the hate just fed itself until the season aired and they were looking for more reasons to hate her.

I don't really get hating a fictional character so much for something like that but I don't accept hating the actress. She doesn't write the show and she deserves respect. Being insulted on twitter?

I'd say so too. They managed to fix their mistakes from season 3 and the show keeps gaining in intensity and purpose. And they keep developing the characters in new ways, which is awesome.

I'm worried about Helena's babies for some reason so I'll keep worrying for another 10 months

I'm sad it won't be longer but grateful it lasted that long. It's a small and smart show and they rarely get a chance.
I'd rather they give it a proper conclusion, knowing it's the end, than to just stop mid-story.

Honestly I can't find a show that I loved that didn't turn to **** past season 5 or even before so I'm ok with 5 seasons

I think she'll focus on movies. She's had a few already and she'll get more. The most interesting will be the smaller ones ofc but I am fine with that

Watching OITNB. Better than previous season... Still:
1. Piper is an annoying trash. Even Meredith Grey looks better in comparison. Absolutely useless, absolutely bland and her story doesn't make any sense. It's clear that she'll pay for it but still.
2. Budget cuts definitely happened.
3. One "true" hour is too long. Make it 40 minutes instead.
4. Flashbacks have nothing to do with main stories.
5. Alex story so far doesn't make sense. Why no one is looking for missed person?
6. Judy King and Lolly are good additions.

OMG! I'm still reeling from the GoT finale
I know pacing a tv show is tough but honestly all the Kings Landing things (except maybe the last scene) could have happened earlier.

More happened in the finale than in the whole season basically and we wasted a whole episode on Team Snow and the Battle of the Bastards

I won't say much because I don't know if you've watched it yet but I will say this: Just when I thought Team Targaryen was too awesome for words last week, it gets AWESOMER! As if that was possible (and with more kickass ladies )


I know! I never got that either. I have gotten more emotionally involved than was prudent with some shows before but "shipping" characters at the expense of the show, i just don't get

GoT finale wasn't bad, but it was quite predictable. I already guessed Cersei would do it that way (though I didn't expect Tommen's reaction), it was predictable that Dany would finally move to Westeros, etc. Jon Snow is not a Snow? We knew that for years, right? The only thing I didn't see coming was Arya with Frey. Good for her. Quite possible that she will following Lady Stoneheart' trail, since I guess they won't introduce her in the series.

Tirion and Dany are awesome though. I hope the series ends with them alive and her on the throne. Or maybe there won't be one single ruler anymore. Maybe 4, or 5, or something? Tirion, Dany, Jon/Sansa, either Littlefinger or Varys and one outsider.

I thought it was pretty well done. Nobody was expecting it. Honestly I thought Cersei was going to have him killed but I knew he wasn't going to live through the finale.

Nah. He was always going to die at that point. He was just a place holder for Cersei. She needed to be on the throne next season.
He only looked for another show because he was done with that one.
Poor King Tommen. Dying like he lived. A coward's death.

Margaery is a tragic loss though. She had to die for Lady Olenna to join Team Fire & Blood but still. I'll miss her.

About damn ****ing time too! They were really running out of reasons to keep her away. Well, now she's going to run into Euron Greyjoy before getting to Westeros so I don't see her in Kings Landing yet but still, at last!

Well, technically he's still a bastard since he was born out of a legal union. He's just not Ned Stark's bastard, but his nephew.
And most people didn't get that he's a Targaryen so I guess they'll get back to that.

I guess the Brienne thing was a hoax and yes I loved that scene even though I'm sorry to say Arya is about as far gone as Cersei at this point.

Three. Three heads of the Dragon on the Targaryen banner. The number three comes back a lot and well, we have three lead characters I'd say so it makes sense Jon, Dani and Tyrion. But at the end, who knows?
(Now that we know officially that Jon is a Targ, I'm still waiting for confirmation Tyrion is one too and that would only make the three of them make even more sense)

Sansa will never be more than a pawn. I've resolved myself to it, sadly.
Now if we were talking about Lady Mormont, that'd be something else that kid.
Littlefinger would never share the power. Either he'll be the last one standing or he'll be far from his goal. Hopefully he'll die from the chaos he created.
As for Varys, I won't discount him outright. He says he never wanted power and I tend to believe him but who knows?

Heh well, shooting a moving target is not that easy, especially when you have no training with a gun and it's fair to assume she doesn't. And I can tell you that, as someone who has had extensive training with a gun. Moving targets are hard.

Oh I hope they never try to convince her. I'll love to see her again, if we do, but I think she should remain innocent. I don't know if she could handle it

Well, according to the prophecy, Cersei will die at the hand of "the little brother", which some people think will be Tyrion, others Jaime. I think it'll be Arya.
But Olenna will definitely make the rest of her life difficult.

Well, she might come back but since she's not at all involved with the Clone Club, and it's the last season, she probably won't have a big part to play. I think MK might be there more.

I'm starting tomorrow and it should go pretty fast so we can talk about it this weekend

Knowing the writers, and how they are attached to characters, I think there's a chance we'll round up all the clones next season to see how they end up. I hope they do less of a rush job with Tony, although Trans people I know said it was the most accurate representation they've seen yet on tv, it felt like a throwaway clone to me. They didn't really have time to develop the character enough.

I've seen the first three episodes, I'm a bit on the fence so far. The new characters, the dead guy in the garden and Piper's tough act make it seem a little bit like they're grasping at straws because everyone said Wentworth is a better show. And the flashbacks are getting worse, or is it me?

My sister keeps asking when we're watching the episodes we have left because she's eager to see where they end up so I'm sure we'll watch them this weekend.
