6. More people watched the premiere of Body of Proof than the post-shocking reveal The Good Wife
Two episodes ago, The Good Wife dropped a major (we're talking jaw on the floor) twist on viewers. We were stunned and couldn't wait to see how the drama played out. But apparently more people wanted to see Dana Delany in a House knockoff. Yet another disappointing blow for quality (and Peabody-winning) scripted television.
Maybe this should be in the News thread?

OK, we all agree on TGW quality but I really don't see the shock considering the most watched TV shows chart.

Kiki, people like procedurals. You know that. I like them too, especially with a fun lead character. I am think of House, Rick Castle and Patrick Jane here. We need some female blood and Dana Delaney is a wonderful actress

Or maybe people just didn't like the big reveal, thought it was stupid and decided to watch something else

I watched the pilot, I liked it very much, I added the show to my weekly list. It is indeed a verified formula, remind me of House but more likeable and human, but it works. I don't like procedurals except for those with a cop investigation, like Castle or in the past Law and Order or Hill Street Blues.
Dana Delaney is really good and I felt already attached to the character. It's the premiere so we really need a second test but i won't be surprised if some viewers decided to stay with BoP. I'd love to see a scenario where both show can survive.

I actually like DD as well, I think she good. And I liked her in DH. What I did not like was the plot really, it just felt like I seen it many times before maybe cause I seen more than 10 season of CSI

maybe I think next week's numbers could be a good indication, also people who watched online is also another sign.

And CSI was a successful formula, especially before Grisson left () but what makes TGW slighlty different is the personal part of the show because really the court drama is nothing new. So, the characters/actors and the script should make the difference, our show is far superior but again, our ratings are not really as good as the reviews we get so maybe there is something more connected to those "gut feelings" that make you watch a show regardless its quality.
We will probably loose some viewers, not much I believe but our numbers are already shaky and while I don't think next season is in danger, a fourth could be if nothing changes.
