it's not as if King Robert cared about what we think or even if the numbers go down anyway.

Honestly, I think we lost the "fans" way back in season 2. There was never a lot of us to begin with. The numbers we are getting now are just people watching CBS 24/7

Nah. The Kings have moved on. There was never a S8. They just didn't want to lose anyone else before the season was over, that's all. It was more PR than anything else I think.

I do not think it will be a S8. Maybe they will give it the CSI treatment, with a two hours finale to wrap things up.

I think CSI was a bit on the bubble before they decided not to renew so they gave it a "proper" finale. TGW was always scheduled to run for 7 seasons and now that most of the cast is gone, and the rest is left behind... plus the Kings already have a new show in production so I doubt they want another one.

I have a feeling this may be the last season too, though I hope we will hear it officially soon.
