I actually commandeered my sister's laptop so that I could try two different methods to record it and both worked so even if they take it offline, it'll still be around ![]() I wish someone had done that for the red carpet yesterday ![]() It was really fun and interesting. Archie and Matt were cute and Julianna was hilarious (unintentionally which is even better )__________________ Carla (aka @Bad_Fluffy... follow the white rabbit ) ~~~~~ We have to be able to criticize what we love, to say what we have to say 'cause if you're not trying to make something better, then as far as I can tell, you are just in the way. -- Ani Difranco | |||

| Thanks Laila. The Futon Critic article missed the most important part of JM talking about 'things coming to a head' ![]() So I finally got to see the panel and it really was one of the best panels ever. This and the one at the Paley Center are the best I have seen. Out of the total two that I have seen in my life. First off, I loved Dalton Ross ( I hope I got the name right) He did a great job moderating. And he was funny with his 'In my opinion' and so many other jokes. He clearly watches and loves the show. And I agree with him, the show just appears to be the most boring, cliched drek from afar. Even I as a woman thought it was too 'womanly' before I started watching it. And I know many men who would have trouble saying that they watch a show called The Good Wife in public. Second, Matt is so funny. It's so funny that he loves the show as much as he does. Every case is his favorite. And him giving his coat to Archie <dies> I loved how even Dalton had to stop and acknowledge what was going on there. I'm so glad Mark Saks (sorry about my misspelling any names, I really don't have the time to check and type right now) was there. I will be a lot more understanding about the presence or absence of recurring characters like Childs from now on. The creators obviously understand they need him more often, just that they can't get him. I didn't even understand their grid system after watching twice, let alone trying to work it. But Nathan Lane as Eli?? Ehhhh. I don't know. Has anyone seen Nathan Lane play a ball buster that Eli is supposed to be? I just have trouble imagining him as Eli now. I read somewhere that Unorthodox was the script that went through the most revisions but I never knew the writers were so strident in their dislike for it. I'm going to talk about JM's interpretation of Alicia on that thread because I think it is pretty important. I don't know why, but I really like David Zucker. He has the air of a man who gets the job done without any fuss. Plus I loved what he said about the show coming together. And other stuff. I really need to rewatch. Btw JM's Kimmel Live interview is up at the abc site. She is great in it as always. __________________ Our Lives are in numbers these days. Big glorious numbers. Here's to the next 100,000. | |||
