One can only hope. I hope we haven't seen the last of of her.

Let's be honest, they never really that invested in the character. She was just there to stand in for Kalinda when Alicia needed an investigator in the same room
They never really gave her a background or anything. So I'm sure they're not broken up about it and she's doing interesting things so I doubt she'll be back.

Perhaps it was a creative choice, or maybe there was some issue with the actress, similar to the reason Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) and Alicia (Julianna Margulies) didn’t share a scene together for 2½ seasons.

Now every time a recurring character is going to drop through the TGW plot hole, people are going to wonder whether JM got them fired. Nice.

Here’s my best guess: Robyn disappeared right around the time we learned Ms. Panjabi was leaving the show. My bet is producers like the Robyn character b

plus Alicia couldn't get her freak on with Robyn so

I want Christine to win so badly. It's about time! The Oliver Platt episode was the best Diane episode in S6, but my favorite all time is still 5.04, the Diane death stare at the end.

That would be great. She deserves it for all the previous seasons anyway. It's just a really competitive category again this year so we'll see.

Well I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her. The show is not worthy of awards anymore but she is.

And she was at the premiere of Ricki and the Flash, a movie with Mamie Gummer playing Meryl's daughter (at last ) and it's like a TGW alumni reunion in the pictures

She's rehearsing a play right now so she's probably going to be on stage for the first half of the season. That hasn't stopped other recurring actors before but it depends how demanding the part is in the play I guess

I knooow! It's brilliant that they're supporting each other and the lovely Tovah Feldshuh who must be the biggest social butterfly of NYC since she's at every play opening and every premiere

There's a great interview with Mamie on Fallon that you can see here. He plays a clip of her first movie with Meryl when she was 20 months old OMG she's so cute!
