Every season of The Good Wife turns on a shattering plot reveal. In season two, for instance, it was that Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) had slept with Alicia’s (Julianna Margulies) husband, Peter (Chris Noth).

How can they even quote that example is beyond me. Anything that it "shook up" pretty much canceled itself right away (like the Peter/Alicia final breakup... that wasn't) except the A/K relationship that never recovered. I doubt it's a good example of storytelling

Yup 21 was what I heard beginning of the year, so maybe it is confirmed now.

Actually, it now seems to be confirmed that we'll have 22, not 21, episodes, and that the finale will be on May 18. That means that it'll be closer to a four-month hiatus than the five-month ones we've had for the past two summers.

I always do like an EW/CBS interview though. They always ask what the show wants to answer. No question about the ridiculous handling of A/K but we do get a question about C/K in the middle of an interview about Will, no less.
