Can't wait to see Jason O'Mara and Kalinda's dynamic and more Jackie vs Eli

OK so thoughts on this episode:

- At the start L/G (LG?) were talking about how they had so much work and not enough people to do it, and yet Will has time to watch Damian Boyle in court and then stalk him at a bar afterwards? No one at L/G seemed to be doing much actual work this episode apart from having meetings, plus Will had enough free time to take on the scabbit case.

- Tech cases are generally not my favourites, but this one was OK and the court scenes had some funny moments. Love Judge Kluger and him calling Alicia at the end was so good!

- I like this Damian guy, but I think Will is becoming too much of a rebel, being desperate to hire this dodgy character.

- Loved the contrast between L/G and F/A. I enjoyed Will and Diane going to F/A and reminiscing about how they started up. I wish the scene with the four of them at the table had been longer.

- The Jackie storyline was OK I guess. I quite like how it gave us some background and I feel sorry for Jackie, but it felt a bit like a filler storyline. I wish they didn't keep giving Eli and sometimes Jackie these random subplots.

- Finally, what is going on with the wig?!

I agree with ALL OF THIS I liked certain scenes and interactions but in general weak episode in my opinion.
But I guess they needed one like this to show Florrick Agos winning against Lockhart/Gardner. ...(btw I still think LG sounds terrible. they should have stuck to what it was. it makes me sad they kind of made it "official" because the sign near the elevator also changed :/ )

I absolutely loved the new episode!

Damian Boyle, Damian vs. Kalinda, Eli vs. Jackie, Jackie, Will, Diane, Alicia, W/D A/C parallel, Will and Diane in the FAA offices, the A/W interaction (), the judge, Robyn... and the final call! What was that? I have heard Jeffrey Tambor is a recurring now!

I felt like the episode had balance, the pace was enjoyable and all the characters got their deserved screentime equally.

Really looking forward next episode, it's not only my bday but also episode 100!

This is the first time I have ever heard Jason O'Mara's genuine accent. And I've been aware of this guy for 11 to 12 years.

At this moment, Lockhart and Gardner are getting on my nerves. I can't believe that Will would be that infantile to sanction the theft of Florrick & Agos' furniture and everything else that has followed. In fact, I pretty disgusted with them at this moment. Why can't they let it go and allow Alicia and Cary, who are trying to move on?

It was on ok episode, imo. Kalinda got screen time with Diane? To me, that was the best part of the episode. And some of the back and forth in court was good.

I did not care for the Eli/Jackie/Rachel thing...It was just meh...but I guess they're setting up another sex scandal for Peter (like father, like son type of thing) but at least no Marylin this episode...

Don't like Damian. And, saw it coming re him and Kalinda...Blake didn't work; Nick didn't work...are they seriousuly trying another "bad-boy"/Kalinda thing? It's old and tired...Sigh...But at least she's getting a little more screen time...

And Will and Diane reminiscing about the time they started up...except he apparently did so remotely from Baltimore...and it was Diane and not Jonas Stern starting things up in Chicago...LOL Ah well.

Anyway...if they don't stop with the infantile crap or indeed the non-courtroom L/G vs F/A thing soon, I'm gonna take a break from the show or evens top...We get the point...Can we please move on? Again, it runs the risk of getting old/tired.

PS...Damian is really annoying...though I may have already mentioned that

This was a very basic episode.

- The case was from the better end of the spectrum. I think the show should save the good cases for filler episodes and less time consuming and uninteresting cases for the big arch episodes.
- The Eli/Jackie plot turned out to be more revealing than expected. Okay, so Jackie has also gone through an unfaithful husband. Kinda sad really that the same happened with his son and what's even worse is that Jackie seems to accept it.
- Will and Diane were a lot more "peaceful" with F&A in this episode. So at least Diane is starting to have enough with going after F&A... Maybe she is accepting their departure? Same is not happening with Will anytime soon.

And then about Kalinda. I feel like the writers have been very unfortunate with this character since the end of S2. Kalinda has had moments, but overall it hasn't been very good. Currently it doesn't look that great on paper. Kalinda is half forcibly being written to participate more actively in the show because of what the audience is asking for and the outcome can be disasterous. There's a danger that it's not going to be natural. Despite this, I really hope the writers get it right this time because they are running out of chances with her. What I saw in this episode with Jason O'Mara's character, can go either way.

What's coming next week looks very promising. Can't wait.

I don't like what's happening with Will at all. It's making me dislike Will and LG( Gosh! I hate calling it that but make it easier ) excepting Diane and Kalinda. I am now find myself rooting for F/A. Maybe the writers are trying to show how crazy a person gets after being betrayed and heart broken by the person whom you have loved for 20 yrs with all your life, etc. But we get it! Enough with it! All his rash decisions with hiring Damian and his thing with the blonde ( thank the lords she wasn't there this week!) are going to blow up or come back to bite him.

Yeah! It was one of the things I loved about the episode. It would have been really wonderful if that scene lasted longer than it did. It was nice seeing them all together albeit on opposite sides of the table. And Will and Diane's reminiscence was sweet, a complete contrast to all the bickering and fighting. It was much needed to balance it out.

Agree! It was very much a filler. This episode is going to lead to something big. This whole episode was kind of like a filler to the big 100th episode next week

I know right? I don't like LG one bit

That is so awesome. You must be in seventh heaven. The 100th episode is the best birthday gift ever and what's so cool about it is that the whole of The Good Wife is presenting that gift to you

I don't think Will knows that they stole the furniture but maybe he gets to know later. But remember it was Damian who just decided to do it and did it. But still it was very infantile. I think Diane would be appalled if she knew.

Even though she is getting screen time it's not more than Damien's and I don't like that at all. Everyone seems to be getting more screen including guest actors but not Kalinda

I completely agree. It makes me so sad. I wish there was a proper story line for Kalinda. Her things was that she was Alicia's friend but now that can't be but still she can have things to do like investigate. I like Robyn but she's getting more time than Kalinda that's just not sitting well with me.

Will can't just let go. It's much easier for Diane because of all the past between A and W but because of this Will shouldn't be shown in darker light with him being so extremist .

Overall the episode was good with all the fun moments like the pin and Judge Kluger calling Alica but not one of the best.

P.S- Will saying "No, thanks" to the lotion my feet guy was hilarious
