No, we went to Munich, stayed there, then travelled by train to Salzburg and another day to the lakes. We were supposed to visit the castle you mentioned, but we hadn’t enough time.

I don’t see it this way, football (or any other sport) has never helped to achieve a healthier national economy. It has helped to make us forget, at least temporarily, some of the problems that we could have, imo.

Hehe that's what I figured. You'd be really sad if you lost your sense of smell, like Ness did. I hope mine is not going next. It's probably not the worst sense you can lose but I'd miss it, especially (but not only) for the cooking.

Next time you come to Paris, I'll take you to eat at Koba's. He's a loon but I think his sushi is way more authentic than what you'd eat anywhere else. It's not as pretty as most places and it can get weird but it's definitely the real Japanese experience.

I don't think the NY way of life cares much about weather or seasons, just like it doesn't care about day or night so yeah it's a different experience I'm sure but it's good all year
