I know it's probably stupid but are the European peeps here whose language is not English ever seen a dubbed episode of TGW?

No. We don’t dub things in Denmark (unless it’s for small kids of course), so I’ve never seen a dubbed episode of TGW. But then I don’t follow TGW on Danish television since they’ve only shown the first 10 episodes or so yet. The rest of the first season will be shown over the summer or something, I don’t know. Anyway, not nearly enough to feed my TGW obsession.

And about the late hour, it’s 3am here and I really should be in bed. But I seem to find this board oddly addicting. I don’t know maybe I can just blame you guys for luring me over to the dark side

Can I just say that's one of the many reasons I love your country?
The French are useless with foreign languages because of the sorry state of public education but the fact that tv dubs everything (not to mention the actual quality of the dubbing process) doesn't help them pick any English up, that's a fact. All the Danes (as well as Swedes and Norwegians) I met while in business school spoke perfect English.

I have, so not proud of it though And I hated it of course, especially when the actress who dubbed Christine spelled McVeigh with a 't' at the end, that was like crime to me.

Nop. Here in Portugal we don't have dubbing show, films or anything. Everything is subtitled. And I'm grateful for that. It's the best way to apprehend other languages​​.

TGW is on cable tv, fox life. They are repeating the first season. But I lack the ability to wait, so I use the web to be always on top of events.
